Metanoia Ministries is a Christian based,
interdenominational ministry. It is a place where people can begin to
change their lives and go in another direction.
We minister to over 1500 people every month through BEGINNINGS
Groups, seminars, workshops and our monthly
newsletter.
Our Mission
Metanoia Ministries is committed to bringing hope, support and Biblical
instruction to interested men, women and youth struggling with or affected
by homosexuality, bisexuality, sexual addictions and other forms of sexual
brokenness. We do this by equipping leaders to establish and facilitate
BEGINNINGS groups in their local churches and ministries.
"Metanoia" - Greek (me-TAN-oi-ah) to
go in another direction; to repent.
Jesus spoke to a woman caught in the act of adultery: "Woman, where
are your accusers?" Jesus asked. "There are none Lord,"
she replied. "Neither do I accuse you. Go and sin no more,"
said Jesus. This is one of the first references in the bible about someone
struggling with sexual brokenness.
"Go and sin no more" — Metanoia.
Jesus told the woman to stop her present way of life and to go in another
direction. Today, He does not accuse. Today, He asks us to go in another
direction, too.
Like the woman caught in the act of adultery, we to
might be caught in sin. Our sin may be out in the open for all to see,
or it may be in secret. Regardless of where we find ourselves, Jesus bids
us to repentance.
Endorsements
"Metanoia Ministries has filled a crucial
gap in ministry in the Puget Sound Area for over 20 years. Homosexuality
and sexual brokenness is not a ministry for the faint-hearted. Robert
Taylor and his staff not only approach the work from a high level of professionalism,
but there is a deep compassion for those whose lives have been fragmented."
Tim Skrivan,
Executive Director
Youth for Christ
Tacoma, WA

"With over 10 years experience as an abstinence
educator, I have seen the profound need many adolescents have to hear
a compassionate and honest message about homosexuality and sexual brokenness.
Rob Taylor provides this very message using personal testimony, humor,
and biblical perspective. For the last five years, Rob's professional
teaching at S.H.A.R.E.'s National Training has inspired and encouraged
those who work with youth. His ability to address the topic of homosexuality
with truth and grace is surpassed by none."
Kathy Taylor
Director & Abstinence Educator
Sexuality, Health and Relationship Education (S.H.A.R.E.)
Bellevue, WA

"Rob Taylor has been an incredible resource
to Life Choices at many levels. He has been an effective speaker at many
of our trainings and conferences as well as being a key resource to our
ministry and those that contact us regarding the issue of homosexuality."
Corey Kahler
